The new Genesis serum bottles have a slightly different application process, so it is important to know how to open and apply them correctly.
How to Open the Genesis Serum
The bottles come with a cap that should stay on.
Do not remove the cap from the bottle. Instead, place the applicator onto the bottle and begin turning it.
As you turn the applicator, you will hear a crack. This means the seal has been broken and the serum is ready to use.
Before applying it to the scalp, test a small amount on your hand to see how easily the product is coming out.
How to Apply the Serum
In a salon, the hair may be sectioned during application.
At home, however, you may be in more of a hurry, so you can simply run the applicator through the hair.
As you move the applicator through the hair, squeeze the bottle so the serum is released.
Continue applying the product throughout the scalp.
What to Do If Product Stops Coming Out
If you reach the end and it feels like there is still some serum left in the bottle but it is no longer coming out, reopen the applicator.
Push down a little further to open the seal more, then continue applying the serum.
This helps make sure you use the full 6ml of product in the bottle.
What to Do If the Applicator Leaks
Sometimes the serum may leak if the applicator is not fitted properly.
If this happens, adjust the applicator and tighten it a little more before continuing.
Once the full amount of serum has been applied, massage it through.
